  • Hara Diagnosis,
  • Kyo/Jitsu theory,
  • Developing practice techniques,
  • Practical homework- 50 case treatments,
  • Review of four methods of diagnosis,
  • taking case histories.

WEEKEND 2- REVIEW

20th/21st October 2007

  • Physiology- Lymphatic system, anatomy of the ear and eye,
  • Introduction to kyo-jitsu reaction,
  • Review of Zen Shiatsu principles and practice,

WEEKEND 3- METAL

17th/18th November 2007

  • Physiology- Respiratory system, anatomy of the skin,
  • Review classical LU/LI meridians and points,
  • Extended meridians of LU/LI, Masanaga's theory of LU/LI,
  • Hara diagnosis and the application of kyo-jitsu in treatments,
  • introduction to composites.

WEEKEND 4- EARTH

16th/17th December 2007

  • Physiology- Digestive system,
  • Review classical ST/SP meridians and points,
  • Extended meridians of ST/SP, Masanaga's theory of ST/SP,
  • Hara diagnosis and kyo-jitsu application.

WEEKEND 5- FIRE- 1

12th/13th January 2008

  • Physiology- Cardiovascular system,
  • Review of classical HT/SI meridians and points,
  • Extended meridians of HT/SI, Masanaga's theory of HT/SI,
  • Hara diagnosis, work with kyo-jitsu application.

WEEKEND 6-MID-YEAR REVIEW

9th/10th February 2008

Content to be confirmed. To include, mid-year assessments, mock practical assessments and tutorials.

WEEKEND 7- FIRE 2

8th/9th March 2008

  • Physiology- Nervous system,
  • Review of classical TH/HP meridians and points,
  • Extended meridians of TH/HP, Masanaga's theory of TH/HP,
  • Hara diagnosis, work with kyo-jitsu application,

WEEKEND 8- WATER

12th/13th April 2008

  • Physiology- Urinary system,
  • Review of classical BL/KD meridians and points,
  • Extended meridians of BL/KD, Masanaga's theory of BL/KD,
  • Hara diagnosis, kyo-jitsu  application,
  • Back diagnosis in prone.

WEEKEND 9- WOOD

17th/18th May 2008

  • Review of classical GB/LV meridians and points,
  • Extended meridians of GB/LV,
  • Masanaga's theory of GB/LV,
  • Hara diagnosis,
  • kyo-jitsu application,

WEEKEND 10- OVERVIEW

  • Review of all extended meridians,
  • Practice in sitting position,
  • Bo/Yu points revision, point location revision.

WEEKEND 11- ASSESSMENT AND LOOK FORWARD
