The Northern School of Shiatsu is based in Sheffield, and runs a range of courses which can lead to a professional qualification in Shiatsu - an ideal start to a new career.

The Northern School was founded by Carol Dean to provide a good practical base with the required theoretical knowledge for students to practice Shiatsu to a high standard. To this end significant emphasis is placed upon a friendly atmosphere with ongoing informal support to students. On the diploma course this support includes additional practice classes designed to develop students practical skills.

WANT TO TEACH SHIATSU?

Are you a Shiatsu practitioner who is interested in becoming a teacher?

The Shiatsu Society has identified a process for practitioners to register as a trainee teacher (t) and progress to become a registered teacher (T).

The Northern School has three Shiatsu Society recognised teachers with many years of experience between them. We can offer support and guidance to an appropriately qualified practitioner wishing to become a registered teacher.
